Restaurant
The Lodge Restaurant at Vaughan Lodge Lahinch has a reputation for fine food and seafood, and provides the village’s premier fine dining venue. Michael’s Uncle, Eamonn Vaughan and his wife Rita ran the very popular Mr Eamonn’s in the village for many years. The strong tradition and popularity of the Vaughans continues.
The atmosphere in our seafood restaurant in Lahinch is casual but elegant and you are always assured of a great menu and service. Michael supervises the restaurant service while one of Ireland’s top young chef’s James Coffey produces simply creative cuisine.
This popular Lahinch restaurant opens for breakfast and dinner only but is available by appointment for private bookings for Lunch, Weddings and other Celebrations.
Local specialities include Burren Lamb reared on the lush herbs of the barren country, Prime Angus Beef, and Smoked Salmon from Lisdoonvarna. Cheeses from Inagh and other craft artisans are popular.
We are blessed with a plentiful supply of fish locally including Halibut, Hake, Scallops, Langoustine, Lobster, Sole, Sea Bream and other local specials each day.
Dress:
The restaurant is smart casual in style – shorts are not normally worn but otherwise there is no stipulation.
